The Unfamiliar first came to life in 2005. It was originally an interactive photography project completed during an internship at the Communication University of China.
The finished work was taken offline shortly after completion; the name stayed. It was meaningful, powerful and expressed everything positive I could feel about travelling.
For the past 5 years, I have published The Unfamiliar as a collection of creative discoveries. Work from others that I admired and inspired me.
Starting today, it is changing its purpose as I begin a journey of wandering. It will become my journal of photography & writings about discoveries, food, people, ideas and thoughts.
